When the Florida Department of Corrections acknowledged a shortage of healthcare workers, Chris and Michael Fortner were quick to respond. The year was 1988 and the response was Suwannee Medical Personnel. From the start, Suwannee has offered the scheduling and compensation flexibility to meet modern staffing challenges.
